RELEASE SNAPSHOT
The publisher’s current README reports version 0.4.2 published in both stores on 3 October. Version 0.4.2 changes the name and description; functionality and data handling match 0.4.1. The source manifest requires Chromium 120 or newer.
Current public publisher README checked through the connected GitHub API on 3 October 2026. Record the version installed from the store when reviewing; availability can change.

PRODUCT FACTS
- Six snooze choices: Today, 24 hours, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks and 1 month. Today ends at local midnight; a month uses the calendar, clamped for shorter months.
- Hide a whole category or hide one streamer only while they are in that category. Category rules persist until removed.
- Whitelist entries override timed snoozes and category rules. Removing a whitelist entry makes any remaining rules apply again; timed rules still expire.
- Use the inline moon menu, Hidden Content manager or toolbar popup to manage and restore rules.

LIMITATIONS
- Hides supported cards and sidebar entries. It does not block direct channel pages, stop playback or change follows, subscriptions or chat.
- Category matching depends on text Twitch currently exposes. Unknown categories remain visible. Use the category name shown in your Twitch language.
- A collapsed sidebar lacks category text; category filtering there needs a matching loaded stream card on the same page or an expanded sidebar. Timed channel snoozes still work when collapsed.
- Rules are local to each browser profile and do not sync across devices. If the browser is closed at expiry, the snooze clears when the extension next starts.

PRIVACY
- The extension stores selected channel names, expiry times, category rules, exceptions and whitelist entries in local browser-profile storage.
- It reads Twitch card labels to match current channels/categories. The manager uses transient observations from open Twitch tabs; it does not fetch a catalogue of every streamer.
- No extension analytics, tracking server, remote code or external API calls. Twitch itself continues its normal network activity under its own policies.
- Restore removes an active snooze. Category rules and whitelist entries remain until removed. Uninstalling removes local extension storage.

PERMISSIONS
storage: Rules in local storage; extension-enabled Twitch tab IDs in session storage.
alarms: Expiry checks for timed snoozes.
Twitch site access: Content scripts run on https://www.twitch.tv/* to add controls and hide supported cards.

REVIEW WORKFLOW — EXPECTED RESULTS, NOT A COMPLETED TEST
1. Set up a visible test
Install from an official store and refresh desktop Twitch. Record the version and page type. Pick one channel whose card is currently visible.
Expected: A moon/Snooze control appears on supported surfaces. Use a loaded visible card so the outcome can be observed.

2. Snooze and restore
Choose 24 hours from that channel’s menu. Open Hidden Content → Streamers and restore the same channel.
Expected: The supported card disappears. Restore removes its timed and streamer-specific rules and adds an exception for any currently matched hidden category. Record the resulting visibility.

3. Test a category
With the sidebar expanded, add the exact displayed category name under Hidden Content → Categories.
Expected: Loaded matching cards are hidden. Unknown-category cards may remain visible. Record the category and page type.

4. Test a whitelist override
While that category rule exists, add one known matching channel to Whitelist. Remove it again after checking.
Expected: The whitelisted channel becomes visible if loaded. Removing it resumes the remaining rule; timed snoozes continue expiring while overridden.

5. Check direct access
Open a channel affected by a rule using its direct URL. If already following it, compare the follow status before and after the test.
Expected: The channel page and playback remain available. Do not infer follow preservation from a signed-out page; mark that check untested if needed.

6. Check persistence and clean up
Refresh Twitch and inspect the rule in Hidden Content. Remove test category rules and whitelist entries; restore any test snoozes.
Expected: Rules persist in this browser profile until removed or expired. Record expiry separately if you have actually waited for it.

Use review-notes.csv to record actual observations. The blank rows are deliberately marked Untested.

ASSETS AND PROVENANCE
Original PNGs are unchanged. Some are historical website captures; others are clearly labelled extension interface previews with sample data. MP4s are silent walkthroughs assembled from saved screenshots on 1 October 2026. They do not establish continuous playback, current live interaction, or performance across other pages.
twitch-menu.png: Actual saved Twitch sidebar capture with the inline snooze menu open. It shows a historical page state; third-party channel names and viewer counts are incidental.
twitch-content.png: Actual saved Twitch page with the Hidden Content manager open and Just Chatting hidden. This establishes the visible saved state, not a continuous interaction recording.
twitch-whitelist.png: Actual v0.4.2 extension interface rendered with fictional channels and sample rules in a development preview. Preserve the visible sample-data label.
walkthroughs/: landscape and portrait H.264 MP4; 18 seconds each; no audio. These are saved-screenshot walkthroughs, not fresh screen recordings.
asset-provenance.json: dimensions, source collection, original filenames and SHA-256 for screenshots/videos.

EDITORIAL USE
Preserve sample-data and historical-capture descriptions. Do not present a screenshot walkthrough as a live interaction or a testimonial. Third-party interfaces, video imagery, lyrics, names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. This kit does not grant rights beyond those the publisher holds. Independent review findings are welcome; no favorable review is required.
