Your first snooze

Try one channel. Restore it whenever you want.

Start with a channel you are happy to hide temporarily. Your follow and subscription remain in place.

Choose the right kind of filter
  1. Refresh Twitch after installing. Find a supported sidebar row or stream card and click its moon.
  2. Choose Today. The channel hides until your local midnight. Choose 24 hours instead for a full day from now.
  3. Check and undo. Open Hidden Content, find the channel’s saved rule and restore it. You can also visit the channel directly while it is snoozed.

A snoozed channel stays visible if it is on your whitelist. Check rule conflicts and restore steps.

Questions

Does snoozing unfollow a channel?

No. Follows and subscriptions stay unchanged. Twitch Snooze hides supported cards and sidebar rows; direct channel pages, playback and chat remain available.

What if my favourite plays a hidden category?

Add the streamer to the whitelist. It overrides snoozes and category filters. You can also make an exception for a streamer in one hidden category.

How does category filtering work?

Rules use the labels currently shown by Twitch. Unknown categories stay visible, and a collapsed sidebar may need an expanded row or a matching visible card to identify the category. Hidden Content shows saved rules and matches loaded in your open tabs, rather than every streamer on Twitch.

Do rules sync between devices?

No. Rules persist in this browser profile and apply across open Twitch tabs. They stay after a browser restart, but do not sync between devices.

What about privacy and source code?

Twitch Snooze has no usage analytics, tracking server or external API requests. It does not read chat messages, cookies or credentials. The complete source is public under the MIT license.
